Diagnostic Process

The ECU (Electronic Control Unit) stores electronic information about the health of your car, this information can be accessed by an electronic reader. The information gained from the ECU can help towards a diagnosis, but the information given has to interpreted as some fault codes may be a bi-product of another fault. The majority of faults actually have to be diagnosed by a trained mechanic as they do not throw up fault codes or the fault codes are triggered by another issue with the car.
